RCIA

Are you interested in finding out more about how to become a Catholic? Maybe you have been away from the Church for a little while or for quite some time, but now you feel a tug at your heart calling you back to the Catholic Church. Perhaps you're already a practicing Catholic but don't feel you were taught much about your faith after you left school.
If any of that sounds like you, then the RCIA is the place to begin your journey to enlightenment and freedom.

RCIA ADULTS - (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults)



The RCIA is for enquirers, seekers and those wanting reasons for their faith. It is an opportunity for discussion, reflection and fellowship on the big questions of life. For centuries, people turned to the Church to find answers to the deepest and hardest questions of everyday life.

Sessions take place in the presbytery meeting room at St Francis de Sales in Wolverton, on Monday evenings from 7.00pm to 8.30pm and is for adults aged 18+.
Consisting of 23 sessions which includes a fellowship supper with Q&A's, you are warmly invited to attend any of the sessions. New courses begin in September and all enquiries are welcome - please do get in touch if you would be interested in knowing more about this.

Dates for the new 2017 / 2018 course are as follows:

6th, 13th, 20th and 27th November
4th December
8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th January 2018

RCIA YOUTH



If your child is aged 9 or over - and has not received the Sacrament of Baptism or Holy Communion, they are warmly invited to register for the RCIA Youth programme.

Please fill in an application form which you will find in the porch at either Church (yellow A5 size) and return this to Dawn Clark in the Parish Office as soon as possible.

Sessions take place at St Francis de Sales presbytery, Wolverton from 3.30pm to 5pm. Dates are in the Newsletter.

Members of the Youth RCIA usually receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) at the Easter Vigil.
